We are very proud of our reputation for excellent uniform and all students should be wearing full uniform at all times. The uniform is available from Trutex via their website: (http://www.trutex.com/) and Beam in Cambrian Road, Newport
Students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 must wear:
  • A purple school blazer with school logo
  • A grey V-neck pullover with purple stripe
  • A white collared shirt/blouse
  • A school tie worn appropriately
  • Mid-grey trousers (no skinny fit, pinstripes, flares, denim or leisurewear). No other colour, including black, is acceptable
  • Mid-grey pleated skirt of a length avoiding extremes, near or below the knee
  • Tights - black opaque or grey/or grey knee-high socks are acceptable to wear with the school skirt
  • Black shoes only – no training shoes, sensible style for all day comfort and safety
  • An appropriate coat
  • Jewellery (other than one pair of ear-studs) is not allowed for health and safety reasons - this includes facial piercings
  • Plain black hijab in autumn/spring term; plain white hijab in summer term
  • Mid-grey tailored shorts of an appropriate length, near or below the knee.  No other colour, including black, is acceptable
Students in Year 12 and Year 13 must wear:
  • A black school blazer 
  • A white, collared shirt/blouse
  • A sixth form school tie with logo
  • Black trousers (no pinstripes, flares denim or leisurewear)
  • Grey/black pleated plaid school skirt of a length avoiding extremes
  • Plain black hijab in autumn/spring term; plain white hijab in summer term
Further information:
  • No long or acrylic nails, or brightly coloured nail varnish
  • Students not meeting the school rules on uniform will undertake their studies in isolation whilst parents are contacted, or until the issue is resolved
  • Students may require either football or rugby boots for PE lessons
  • Hoodies are not permitted
  • School bags should be plain and fit for purpose i.e. big enough to carry all equipment
  • Extreme haircuts are not allowed, which includes brightly dyed hair. The Headteacher has the final say on this matter
